Amusements...

Some random amusements from the past 24 hours or so:

1) Last night, I saw a Rib Crib commercial that said "Welcome to Summer!" in entirely too happy a voice. The commercial proclaimed that they were introducing their summer menu, or something of the sort.

You know, I didn't need Rib Crib to tell me that it's summer. I kinda got the hint when people started dropping dead from the heat. *sigh* Dorks.

2) Here's a quote from a Tulsa World story about the OSU Cowboy football team:

"A full year has passed without OSU dismissing any football players."

Hooray! First, matching haircuts, and now the joyous announcement that none of them are currently felons! Next, ... they will rule the world.

3) Spammers have hit a new low. I just got a spam message that had a subject line of, "Urgent Prayer Request". Curious, I looked further and saw, "Cialis soft tablets help you to...".

Where exactly is this kind of thing a common prayer request? The Church of Clinton?
