Oppan Gan-Nerd Jeff Pics

OK, so the response to Photoshop Jeff was pretty dismal. I have trouble imagining why people don't jump at the chance to mock me... maybe I am much, much more fantastic than I think? I bet that's it.

In any case, I did get a couple of pics from P-Ziddy and then I made a couple of my own. Apparently I am the un-mock-able wind beneath your wings and all, but I promise it's OK to smirk and even giggle if you're feelin' it.

P-Ziddy did these first two. He told me he couldn't find a Babylon 5 backdrop that he was happy with.

That got me thinking and searching. I couldn't quite find a perfect Babylon 5 backdrop either, but I did run across a couple that worked out OK for me.

That's me on the planet Minbar! Crystalline structures make me gotta get my groove thing on.

I'm in your background, stealing your scenes. So much for drama!

Oppan Gan-Nerd Jeff, Take 2

Arg. OK. So, it's hard to crop out a background, especially since I don't have a photo studio in my home and have no interest in having a photo studio in my home. Fine.

Here ya go...

Click into for the larger versions. Crop out the white, feather the edges, you're all good.

Send your creations to jeff . w . mcclung @ gmail . com.

That is all.

Photoshop Jeff: Oppan Gan-Nerd Style!

You know what my favorite parts of the Gangnam Style video are?

It's when he's doing that amazing horsey dance with nobody (or nearly nobody) around him.

This dude is wonderfully hysterically wonderful. He's just gotta dance, baby! Rain or shine, with or without an audience, that lasso's gotta FLY!

I also love how coordinated his backup dancers aren't. But I digress.

I gotta dance!!!

This may be the easiest Photoshop Jeff ever. Just pluck out my background and make me dance somewhere. Doesn't matter where.

Remember, click into those images for a larger version of the picture.

My long-time readers know that I have very strict posting rules. If you send it, I gotta post it. Go for PG13 or less, please. :) Have fun, and send your Photoshopped goodness to:

jeff . w . mcclung @ gmail . com

In a week or two, I'll collect up all the pics I get and feature them here.

Previous Photoshop Jeff events can be found here. Keep on horsey dancing!

TSO Photoshop Jeff

You might recall the "TSO Poses" that I did a couple of weeks ago. I knew P-Ziddy wouldn't be able to resist Photoshopping them. I was not disappointed.

Click into either of these for a larger version.

I'm on stage! With invisible instruments! And Mojo-Jojo! Sweet.

And then there's this:

If there were four of me, my Christmas light display would be at least this big. Aw Yeah.

Happy Friday!

Photoshop Jeff... One Last (?) Mustache Pic

Big Dawg promised me a Photoshop Jeff "mustache" pic.

It was a bold promise. After all, Big Dawg has a long history of hate with Photoshop. He actually tried briefly, but then decided to try a non-traditional approach.

He went onto Amazon.com and bought a fake mustache.

He also bought a pair of mirrored sunglasses.

I did mention this was a non-traditional approach, right? Check this out:

Sorry about the blur (cell phone camera).

When the hysterical laughter died down a bit, OoRah said he felt a sudden urge to go watch CHiPs. I commented that I looked like a cross between a biker and a cop. Maarek said, "Too bad you don't have a bandanna..."

"Oh," I said, "I actually have a bandanna."

I ran over to my desk and grabbed a "US Cellular" bandanna that I got years ago as a freebie from a local Arena Football game.

There was more hysterical laughter. As the cell phone cameras were raised, somebody commented, "Now he's like a pirate... if he just had a throwing star, he could be a pirate-ninja!..."

"Just a minute," I said as I ran back to my desk. I picked up my paper throwing star from our "International Act Like A Ninja Day".

For your enjoyment, the crowning glory of Big Dawg's non-traditional Photoshop Jeff efforts... Jeff the Pirate-Ninja-Biker-Cop (with US Cellular bandanna):

It's amazing how fun Photoshop Jeff can be when you have physical access to the Jeff.

For the record, that fake mustache smelled AWFUL.

Fashionably Late Photoshop Jeff Pic

This came from V. I'll let her explain:

"I didn't use the current photo, but I did attempt the handlebar moustache theme. :) Did you know you get a whole different set of images on a google search when you hunt for "Moustache Handlebar" than you do the other way around? Handlebars led to bicycles which led to bees and well, you can see where it all ended up."

If you don't know the bee story, you really do need to click here and read it. Seriously. If mocking me has ever brought you any joy, you will thank me.

Photoshop Jeff... Mustache Me: Results!

It's that time again!

The project was as simple as a Photoshop Jeff could possibly be. Just give me a mustache.

As always, if you want to send a late photo (jeff.w.mcclung @ gmail.com), go ahead. I'll still post it.

And to show you just how easy it can be, check out this entry from OoRah!

That's all it takes! Instant hilariosity!

This one is from me. It's a old hero of mine, and we're both sporting "pencil-thin" mustaches...

This is me with a new hero of mine... the grinning cigar-chomping turban-hoodie dude from a recent Tiger Woods photo. We took in a game.

(note: these first three have no "large" version, so they're not click-able. From here on down, you can click into a larger version of the photo)

These next three are from P-Ziddy, and this first one may be my absolute favorite in terms of sheer cartoony joy. The look on starfish Patrick's face is *perfect*.

I wasn't familiar with the "Waluigi" character... basically he's like an evil Luigi. I just know that I've got a red nose and it seems to be bothering me.

"Legendary"? A better word to describe my guitar skills might be "Mythical"...

And then finally, this gem from Web Ninja. You need to click into this one to get the full effect. Right there in the middle is what I like to call a "handsome woman".

You might notice that there are no entries from Big Dawg, who swore he would provide me with one. :) Expect some good-natured ribbing over this, Large Canine. ;)

As always, the entire archive of Photoshop Jeff pics lives here.

And just for the fun of it...

Photoshop Jeff... Mustache Me

OK, so I don't even remember how the idea came up. I just remember Big Dawg giggling and saying, "Now I have a mental picture of you with a villainous twisty mustache!"

We cackled at the idea a bit, and he said, "If you make that your next Photoshop Jeff, I'll *totally* make one for you!"

Oh really? I have my doubts... Big Dawg has never once provided a Photoshop Jeff pic, despite saying more than once that he was thinking about doing it.

In any case, the theme doesn't get much easier than this. Put a mustache on me. And any other props that seem appropriate.

Click into that picture (or use this link) to get a larger size. You'll be at my Flickr account, so you can even grab previous Photoshop Jeff images and use them if you'd rather.

UPDATE: I typo'd my own email address! Email address has been corrected...

When you're done, send your image to jeff.w.mcclung @ gmail.com. If you send it, I'll post it... with the possible exception of Hitler mustaches. I reserve the right to misplace those. :)

And in case you have a few minutes to kill, here's some previous Photoshop Jeff pics for you to browse.

Have fun!

Photoshop Jeff... Code Bandit: Results!

All I need now is a pistol and a free hand
OK, so there's the pic. Your task was to take it and mock me digitally.

Visitor response was unfortunately minimal. I never thought that implied respect could be so disappointing.

Of course, late submissions are always welcome.

You can click into these for larger versions... especially important since the last few in the list have text and other small details you might miss otherwise.

Up first is the one you've seen already from P-Ziddy. He thoughtfully confined me to the serene germ-free bullet-proof protective custody of a giant hamster ball.

Thank you, 'Zid!

This one is my own creation. Admittedly, I didn't spend much time on it, but I've always thought it would be fun to see my face on a "lost dog" poster.

Have you seen me?

There's been a Boy Wonder sighting! Sorta. And if I know anything about Boy Wonder, it's that he loves him some Adam West.

Thank you, Boy Wonder!

The next one is from Boy Wonder also. This gentleman seems to have misplaced his tights.

You kinda scare me, Boy Wonder

Finally, I will unashamedly play favorites here. My wife came up with this idea, and I love it. If I ever do turn to a life of crime, my first target should be pretty obvious.

I love you, Sweetheart!

Photoshop Jeff... Code Bandit

All I need now is a pistol and a free handRemember this picture from yesterday's post?

Well, your task is to take that picture and use it to mock me.

Piece of cake, right?

Now, I know that some of you (*cough* *cough* *iCanSpell* *cough*) have complained in the past that I don't stand in front of solid-colored backgrounds for these things. That would be because I don't carry around a photo studio in my back pocket. So, to accommodate the whiners, I'm providing you a version of this picture with the background already helpfully removed. Click into it for a bigger version.

Code Bandit

Ha! Now there's no excuse for you not to mock me. Do your worst... then email the goods to jeff.w.mcclung AT gmail.com.

And if you need inspiration, then check this out. P-Ziddy has already been hard at work on this, putting me where I've always wanted to be. In a protective plastic bubble.

C'mon! Mock me! You know you wanna!

Photoshop Jeff! - Happyness - Results!

HappynessYou guys really came through for me on this one. I love all the goodies! Let's get right to it.

First up is this gem from LadyPatsFan who wrote, "The second I saw the theme I knew exactly what would make you happy." Indeed... happiness is not having hail damage on my Vibe.

My buddy Shorts took a slightly different approach, thinking, "What would make any good little nerd happy?" I think he hit the mark.

V gave me a simple but wonderful one.

The idea for this one came from my wife! She listed off a number of things that make me happy... music, my Vibe, Tigger, my laptop, our first house... and of course, her. :)

OoRah went completely nuts on this one, giving me THREE pictures and some insights into how his mind works. First, there's...

And if conservative policies don't help, you can always resort to violence...

And this is just TMI, dude.

Not to be outdone, P-Ziddy gladly accepted the three-picture gauntlet with some horrors of his own. There's the ever-popular Motivational Poster...

And of course, the obvious...

And then the second picture inspired by my hail post from a few days ago. He said he couldn't get the idea of "Romance Novel Cover Jeff" out of his head.

Finally, there's this one from me. It's inspired by my littlest Nephew's amusing name for Curious George. If you haven't read that one, go back and read it. Seriously. It's a classic.

Many thanks for all the good-natured fun at my expense! You can still send in pics if you want, I'll always post them. :)

Photoshop Jeff! - Happyness

Happy Jeff!Yeah, it's that time again. Photoshop Jeff! This time the theme is, "What is Jeff so happy about?"

How it works: Click into that pic for a bigger version. Whine at Jeff about the lack of a truly solid-colored background (I do my best!). Create comedy. Email that comedy to me at jeff.w.mcclung AT gmail.com.

As you all know, I have a strict posting policy. If you send me I picture, I will post it. Just try to keep it PG-ish, is all I ask.

Photoshopiness

Unstable Monkey

In the comments for Tuesday's "Johnny Bravo" story, P-Ziddy observed:

"I'm sorry Jeff. I'm having a really hard time with visualizing your face on Johnny Bravo. I've always pictured you more as the Mojo Jojo unstable monkey type."

It didn't take long for this to appear in my inbox:

Mojo JeffJeff!

Jeff the Unstable Monkey. Not only is it an apt descriptor, but it's also a pretty good band name. :)

Revenge

I played a practical joke on Special K (Graphic Designer) this week. He designed a web page, and I put it together. The demo page featured a few Advertisements, so I plugged in some old Ads. Then I inserted an Ad of my own making.

It's quite a collection

Obviously, the initial version of this Ad had Special K's real name on it. I also may have used a non-PG noun there at the end. *cough*

Special K's rallied the troops for a little vengeance. This 'pic (from Kinz) showed up in my inbox a little later:

Trailer Trash Talk!

I'll forgive him for misspelling my last name since he was kind enough to keep my upper man bits covered. No one wants to see that, I'm sure. :)
